The tour kicks off from the charming Baroque town of Palazzolo Acreide, surrounded by the typical citrus and olive scents of the Hyblaean Valley. Following quiet and scenic secondary roads, you will head east-southeast along rural lanes showcasing the authentic Sicilian hinterland, with gentle rolling hills crossing cultivated fields, vineyards, and small woods. After about 20 km of pedaling, the landscape opens up towards the Canicattini Bagni area, a rural environment rich in history and nature. Just before reaching the center of Canicattini Bagni, you will arrive at Ponte Alfano, an ideal panoramic viewpoint for a break. Here, you can admire views of the Hyblaean countryside right from your bike and enjoy a relaxing moment before continuing or heading back.
